Taking care of a river starts with the people on the banks.

We believe in making a positive environmental impact by investing in the people living in important ecosystems. And, when working with communities around the world, the best ideas always come from the the people that live there.
When you purchase a guitar, you join the community in making a positive change. James, a lifelong resident of Jinja, Uganda works with the local community to identify opportunities to make the most impact. We are currently keeping our scope small in order to make a big impact in a single area.
- Medical School for a Fisherman
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Help cover school fees and a fisherman can become a doctor.
Alex is a fisherman on the Nile just a couple miles from the source. He fishes overnight in a handmade wooden canoe, catching Nile Perch and Tilapia to support his family.
Alex is bright, and he has an ambitious plan for his life. Currently, when funds allow it, he is attending medical school. He’s protecting the river, caring for his family, and bringing health care to his community.
Our first project is helping Alex achieve his lifelong dream of completing medical school in Uganda. When you purchase a guitar it will fully fund one of Alex’s classes.
